Ibera Lodge offers a unique setting for amateur bird watchiers with over 350 species, some of which are endangered.
They offer a wonderful live show and they are a marvel of intelligence, beauty, skill and grace.
In our outings during the early hours of the day, we catch them in their natural habitat, and we study their behavior and habits. This is the optimum time to observe these birds in their natural environment. During this time, the birds are more hungry and preoccupied with their search for food. The best way to locate the most interesting species, requires a detailed knowledge of their appearance, sound, behavior and more suitable habitat, all in addition to a good deal of discretion, patience, and luck.
"The world is a crystal sphere; he who does not fly goes missing." Pablo Neruda
